Charming Children's Book
Date: October 8, 2009

"This is a children's book which says ages 9-12, but my 4 year old liked it's simplicity and rhymes - not to mention the beautiful and detailed illustrations that grace every page. (I just found another site which places this in the 3-7 age group which I feel is more appropriate.)
It follows a family from morning until night with various places, activities, weather - all the while reaffirming that everything that happens is part of our world - yet at the same time, a part of the bigger world - so we are all really connected. Did that make sense? That is what I got out of it at least."

Simply fantastic!

"One of my all time favorite children's books! All the World is rated on the inside cover for ages 3 to 7, but my 8 year old twins spent a lot of time thoughtfully looking through the details of the beautiful illustrations. The words flowed effortlessly from the beginning of the book (a morning on the beach) to the end (bed time) all the while showing how life is to be savored. This wonderful story subtly explains how even the simplest of things such as one's daily routine should be recognized as special, while reinforcing the concept that we are all connected. I loved the multicultural main character family and that the illustrator included different generations, which all seemed to be drawn with love. A magical story."
